Futura Energy Group is supporting a cutting-edge clean energy technology company in Los Angeles that is scaling advanced hardware systems for synthetic fuel production and sustainable industrial processes. We are hiring Mechanical Technicians who thrive in hands-on environments and are driven by a sense of purpose — working on real-world systems that help solve the climate crisis.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical intuition and broad shop floor experience who enjoy solving problems, building prototypes, and working on next-generation energy infrastructure.

Your Role

As a Mechanical Technician, you’ll support the assembly, testing, and development of complex hardware systems for clean energy and chemical processing applications. You will work across a variety of subsystems including gas reactors, electrolyzers, fluid systems, and carbon capture platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and fabricate prototype mechanical, fluid, and chemical systems
  • Fabricate and install low-pressure fluid panels and tubing
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical and fluid system components
  • Operate instrumentation and control equipment for testing
  • Follow detailed procedures, safety protocols, and technical documentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment
  • Support scaling of manufacturing and assembly processes

Who We're Looking For Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, military, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with chemical processing systems
  • Familiarity with fluid system components and test instrumentation
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings
  • Comfortable working independently or in teams on tight timelines
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 25+ lbs unassisted
  • Comfortable standing for 8+ hour shifts
