Ambassador Personnel is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in the New Orleans, LA area.

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will conduct preventative, predictive and emergency maintenance to production equipment and the facility. The ideal Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will have experience working in a multi-craft, industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdowns. Troubleshoots, repairs, replaces worn parts, motors, control devices, etc.
• Operates machine shop equipment, hand tools, power tools, and makes required parts when necessary.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits, PLCs, wiring, controls, HVAC, etc. up to 480v.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 2-5 years in a multi-craft manufacturing environment.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Flexible to work any shift.
